House Cleaning Tips - Create a Checklist
By Kaye Dennan
Reliable house cleaning tips are essential in the effort to make your house speed cleaning so much easier, quicker and effective. My house cleaning tips for monthly cleaning will help you be organized.
I have found, and I am sure you have too, that you don't need to do every cleaning task every week. Gosh, we would never get through cleaning a house if everything had to be cleaned every week! So to make your cleaning more organized, an excellent way to ensure that everything is done on a regular basis is to write up a check list or two. This idea is especially beneficial when there are two or more people doing the cleaning. For example, you may share a unit with flatmates or you may share cleaning duties with your partner.
A checklist will be an easy way to keep tabs on what has or has not been done. It might even go as far as to prevent a few arguments along the way!
Make cleaning checklists.
When organizing the house cleaning it is best to have several lists. I know this sounds a bit tedious, but once they are set up they only need to be tweaked every now and then or maybe not at all. The lists would be best broken down into:
To really make this idea work the list needs to have 3 sections well documented:
- The name of the task, e.g. clean bathroom grout
- How to clean it, e.g. spread baking soda paste over grout and leave for 15 mins, scrub off then rise down with sponge and clean water
- What to clean it with, e.g. make a past of baking soda and water, scrubbing brush and sponge
A check list system like this will mean that there are no jobs that go undone and soon you will find that your cleaning tasks are getting done with a minimum of fuss and a minimum of hassles between the people who are doing the cleaning.
House cleaning tips
will allow you to speed clean your house in no time at all, and even those huge monthly or seasonal cleans won't be so challenging from an organizational point of view. Another benefit of having lists is that if you cannot get the chores done all in one go then you will have marked off where you have left off and where to start next time. Couldn't be easier!
